December is usually a quiet month for weddings as most couples in Vancouver traditionally get married during Summer or Fall. So when Jaime and Gabriel asked me to photograph their wedding on December 3rd, I was excited to be granted the opportunity to capture the special day of one last amazing couple before the end of 2011. I’ve known Jaime for a couple of years due to the fact that we’re both ballroom dancers, though Jaime is at least 100 times better than me.
The day started with Jaime’s preparation photos, we then proceeded to the wedding ceremony and lunch reception, which were both held at Horizons Restaurant located at the top of SFU Burnaby Mountain. Afterwards, we headed down to the Vancouver Convention Centre for some post-reception photos! Despite the fact that our time was limited, as a photographer I have to say I absolutely loved shooting there. Love the photos even more!
